Children trapped 

In old withered bodies

Encapsulated 

By our own mistakes

Stuck in what we thought was home

A mirage of love and affection

Imprisoned by loneliness

Distracting ourselves 

From shadows of photographs

Unprotected and lost 

In veins riddled with intoxication
